About Dr. Michael V. Hajjar, MD
Dr. Hajjar earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University and his medical degree from Georgetown University.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Hajjar participated in a General Surgery Internship at the University of South Florida and then continued on into a Neurosurgery Residency also at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Hajjar is associated with the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Board of Neurological Surgery, and the organization, All About Neck & Back Pain.

Amber Ryska
Medical Assistant
Amber has worked at Dr Hajjar’s Medical Assistant since March 2004. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from University of Idaho in 1998.
She has a husband and two children. She enjoys spending time in the mountains with her family, cooking and reading.
Aimee Rawlinson
Transcriptionist
Aimee has worked for Dr. Hajjar for eight years as his transcriptionist.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family outdoors whether it is camping or enjoying Idaho scenery. She also loves watching her children play sports and rooting for our local school teams. She is a big fan of the kitchen and enjoys baking and cooking.
McKellie Tapp
Medical Assistant/Surgery Scheduler
McKellie is a native Idahoan who was born and raised in Boise. McKellie started working at Neuroscience Associates in January of 2011 as a receptionist and became a medical assistant/surgery scheduler for Dr. Hajjar in June of 2015. McKellie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with an emphasis in Dispute Resolution from Boise State University in 2012. In her free time, McKellie enjoys baking as well as taking her boxer dog for walks along the greenbelt.
